Terms and Conditions of StorageSpace.lu

Welcome to StorageSpace.lu. By using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Operator

 

Storage services are provided by Celestis S.à r.l., 11 Rue Eugène Ruppert, L-2453 Luxembourg, registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Business Register under number B292274.

 

 

2. Agreement and Term

 

Your rental begins on the selected start date and continues for an initial period of one month. After this initial period, the agreement continues automatically on a month to month basis until terminated by either party with at least 30 days prior written or emailed notice.

 

If a minimum commitment end date has been agreed, you may not terminate the agreement before that date, except for cause. After expiry of the minimum commitment period, the agreement continues on a month to month basis under the same conditions.

 

 

3. Payments and Fees

 

You agree to pay the monthly storage fee shown at checkout.

 

Payment is made either by credit card or by monthly bank transfer (if agreed).

Invoices are issued before each billing period and payment is due on the monthly anniversary date.

 

If paying by credit card, you authorize StorageSpace.lu to automatically charge your card for each billing period. You are responsible for keeping your payment details up to date.

 

If paying by bank transfer, payment must be received by StorageSpace.lu no later than the move-in date for the first period and no later than each monthly anniversary date thereafter.

 

Failed or late payments incur a fixed fee of €50 excluding tax per occurrence. Access may be suspended until payment is received.

 

StorageSpace.lu may adjust fees annually in accordance with the Luxembourg IPCN index.

 

 

4. Deposit and Charges

 

No cash deposit is required.

 

StorageSpace.lu reserves the right to charge any outstanding amounts, including unpaid fees, damages, lock replacement, cleaning, disposal of prohibited items, or enforcement costs, to the payment method on file or to recover such amounts by other means.

 

 

5. Permitted Use and Prohibited Items

 

Units are intended solely for storage.

 

You may not use the unit for habitation, business operations, manufacturing, retail, or any illegal activity.

 

The storage of hazardous, flammable, toxic, illegal, or otherwise dangerous substances is strictly prohibited.

 

You may not store perishable, decomposable, unhygienic, or malodorous items, or any goods likely to create hygiene risks, infestation, or nuisance.

 

Units must be kept clean, secure, and properly locked at all times. Sharing access credentials without authorization is prohibited.

 

 

6. Access and Right of Entry

 

You are provided with personal access credentials (app and or PIN). You are responsible for keeping them secure and must notify us immediately in case of loss or misuse.

 

StorageSpace.lu may access the unit with prior notice for inspection, maintenance, or compliance purposes, or without notice in case of emergency or suspected breach.

 

 

7. Insurance and Liability

 

StorageSpace.lu provides limited insurance coverage for stored items up to EUR 2 500 per claim, as included in the rental fee and subject to the terms and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

 

You remain responsible for insuring your goods beyond this amount and for any items not covered by the policy.

 

StorageSpace.lu acts solely as a storage provider and not as a depositary. Except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, StorageSpace.lu is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to stored goods.

 

 

8. Default and Termination

 

In case of non-payment or breach of these terms, StorageSpace.lu may suspend access, terminate the agreement, and take appropriate action, including removal or disposal of stored goods in accordance with applicable law.

 

All related costs, including cleaning, locksmith, storage handling, and enforcement costs, may be charged to the Customer.

 

 

9. Data Protection

 

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR for contract management, billing, security, and legal compliance.
